It goes into detail both into Iran's history and Islam's rise to becoming one of the world's major religions. He's quite right in that all religions have a blood-drenched history; Islam is not unique in this regard. There are as many interpretations of the Koran as there are of the Bible.Radical Islamists might have killed thousands of Westerners, but they've killed hundreds of thousands of Muslims. Anyone who does not share their ideology, which few do, is considered a valid target for mass murder. It is a major shame than reformers within the Muslim community receive little support from either side of the political spectrum, albeit for different reasons. It's other Muslims that suffer the most from this sort of silence.As for Iran, there is a certain irony to the fact that the most anti-American government in the Middle East has the most pro-American population. The majority of the population has no personal memory of the Shah and even some of the older ones who do see the Theocratic government as even worse than what it replaced. The democracy movement has not ended, contrary to what was claimed in 2009. Protests continue today, though the media is focused on other events.There is a tidbit of information I wish he had mentioned, however: Muhammad had 13 wives over the course of his life, but had children only with two, and only children from his first wife survived. Birth control was nonexistent in a tribal society. If you were having sex, you were having kids. It's been described as "curious" but at least to me, it could mean Muhammad did not have sex with his other wives.One thing I do disagree with the author on is that I consider it more likely that the mullahs in Iran are more likely to a Tiananmen Square-style massacre than they are to lose power. They clearly aren't hesitate to torture, imprison, and kill anyone who disagrees with their vision. I could be wrong about this, I admit, but that's what the situation appears to be right now.Well worth reading.

I recommend this to everyone, reading this all the way through is so easy as it is so interesting.

I purchased this book because I wanted a change of pace from the self-growth books I was reading. Although some may categorize this is another self-growth book I viewed as an autobiography- growth book. I love how each chapter is titled after the lesson Chris Jericho learned. The lessons aren't anything new like "Always have a relentless work ethic", or "Never take no for an answer" but the story that Chris Jericho has behind them is nothing short of spectacular. I wish this book had an audiobook because it would have been amazing to hear Chris narrate his own book.One of the points I wanted Chris to touch on was 1. His time in Mexico and 2. His story/ road to WWE. You will find both of those here and find even more on other wrestlers such as Triple H and even the WWE Chairman himself, Vincent Kennedy Mcmahon.Overall it is an excellent book that any WWE fan will enjoy just like I did. Go ahead and purchase it you won't be disappointed.

I really enjoyed this book. It's different than his last books though I must say. If you into this expecting to read about all sorts of wrestling stories from his last run...you're going to be disappointed. However if you go into this just because you like Chris then you'll be very happy. This is a motivational style book with each chapter based off a positive idea on ways to live life to the fullest.There's many stories in here that are very entertaining, and Chris name drops like no other. While there aren't many wrestling stories in it, the ones that are in it are very fascinating.I'd give this book four stars simply because I like Chris so of course I liked his book. Not to mention he did a great job with this book as he did in the past.

Thoroughly enjoyed this motivational/business/self-improvement book. If you're a Jericho fan, before you "pfft, I don't need a self-help book", note that it is full of great stories from his wrestling and music career. At times I forgot that he was even trying to give advice on how to live a better life because I was so invested into the stories. If you're a Jericho, Wrestling, or music fan, or just want a little kick in the butt, I think you'll enjoy this book.

There really is nothing this man can't do. This book is far different then his normal biography but that's doesn't mean it's not as good. He still tells wrestling and fozzy stories but does in a way that makes you want to get off your lazy but and do something to better your life. Chris has given me so much entertainment for almost all my life and I could never thank him enough for that. Please read this book it's absolutely genius.

I've been familiar with Chris Jericho for nearly 20 years and always enjoy listening to his podcasts and other people interviewing him.So, I was shocked when I quit this book only after about 2-3 chapters.I think it has to do with the ghostwriter's writing style of Jericho's words and personality. It came off as something that was intended for people under 20 years old.

This is the fourth book that Chris Jericho has written and it is just as charming and funny as all the others. It is definitely something that all wrestling and music fan should read. Although, I think everyone will enjoy it. It is definitely the most entertaining self help book I have ever come across.

This is a good story book for children not only a plane story for kid but there's a lesson about this book that don't give up in life like the elephant in the story and this book inspires our kids to have perseverance in life and teach us to have positive perception in life and i definitely will show to all my nieces and nephews to read this book because this is such a good book for all kids.

Amazing story. I love that Mosha never gave up. We should all try to be like Mosha and keep trying, no matter what. And the best thing about this book is that Mosha is a real elephant with a real prosthetic leg at Friends of the Asian Elephant Hospital in Thailand. My little grandchildren will love this story because they love elephants, too, just like their grandma, and it teaches them that they shouldn’t give up on things they really want to do. They have to keep trying! I can’t wait to see the next book that will follow. Love the illustrations! I’d definitely recommend this book to young children, because we need to begin teaching them early about the plight of elephants at a young age so they understand how important it is to help and save them. Thank you for this wonderful book, Aston!

This second book is as good as the first, my son loved it!

A Nice little story of a brave elephant who accidentally broke her lag and then replaced with a metal leg. The author has chosen the words carefully making everything suitable for a child. I enjoyed the read. It will definitely take you to the world of a playground with kids chirping around you.
