You need to be Jewish to really appreciate this book. Some of these I heard as a kid when our family would get together, and some are from the old Jewish comedians I grew up listening to. If you are not Jewish, these are great that will definitely make you laugh. It just will probably not be a side splitting, Uncle Morris told that one, since you probably didn't grow up with old Jews! Great book!
Before purchasing this book, I read parts in a store and was impressed. Now that I have had the opportunity to read the whole book, I found the jokes on the whole to be original and first rate. Laughter is the spice of living a great life and staying healthy. My husband, who is Jewish and I went on vacation with some of his cousins and his sister and her husband. Every day, at breakfast and during the day we would pull this book out and we'd randomly ope n to a page and read a joke. We would roar with laughter and disrupt the whole restaurant. We did this every day and had the best time together. We gifted each with this book and they took it home with them to share the laughter and the love.
